The 2012 Detroit Auto Show is quickly approaching, and, as always, will be a huge showcase for automakers. What will Honda bring to the show? A concept vehicle revealing the styling direction of the next-generation Honda Accord Coupe will debut at the 2012 North American International Auto Show January 10, American Honda Motor Co., Inc., announced. The Accord Coupe Concept will convey the dynamic and aggressive profile of the ninth-generation 2013 Honda Accord set to go on
sale in the fall of 2012. John Mendel, American Honda executive vice president of sales, will introduce the concept vehicle at a press conference. The introduction of the ninth-generation Accord marks 30 years of U.S. production of the model at the Marysville Auto Plant in Marysville, Ohio, the first Japanese car assembly plant in the U.S.
Honda will also unveil a concept version of its NSX supercar at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. The US arm of the Japanese automaker will showcase the Acura NSX January 9, confirming that the concept is a preview of a new NSX model destined for production within the next three years.

The LA Auto show officially opens on November 19th, and runs through the 28th. The LA Auto Show is an annual auto show held at the Los Angeles Convention Center in late November/early December. The LA Auto Show is an OICA sanctioned international exhibition and also endorsed by the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association. It is open to the public for ten days each year, filling 347,000 square feet (32,200 m2) of exhibit space. Every year the LA Auto Show kicks off with two press days full of activity for journalists, designers and industry representatives alike.
The auto show this year is geared up to be an exciting event with new technology, and many debuts, including the Honda Fit EV Concept vehicle. The all-new Fit EV Concept electric vehicle strongly suggests the direction and styling of an upcoming production Fit EV all-electric vehicle, which will be introduced to the U.S. and Japan in 2012. The Fit EV is designed to meet the daily driving needs of the average metropolitan commuter. The Fit EV will feature standard Honda Satellite Linked Navigation System with charging station locator capability, a Lithium-ion battery, a High-density coaxial electric motor derived from the FCX Clarity, a 3-mode E-Drive system with Econ, Normal and Sport modes to maximize efficiency or improve acceleration, a standard connectivity system provides driver connectivity to the Fit EV from smartphone and personal computer or the Honda-exclusive interactive remote, and of course Honda Fit hatchback styling.
